Resumo da história:
Em um futuro distante na Terra, criaturas semelhantes a alienígenas cultivadas em laboratório são produzidas em massa, e a maioria é tratada como eletrodomésticos e não vista como cidadãos. Esta história se concentra em um personagem em particular chamado Electri (latim para "âmbar") que parte em uma aventura para ganhar liberdade e descobrir de onde ela e o resto de sua espécie vieram. Ela faz amizade com 3 personagens improváveis que se juntam a ela em sua jornada.
